Our company was founded in 1967 by Joseph Gallo on a small lot in Locust Valley, New York. Since then, after years of providing professional, unparalleled quality workmanship, we have grown substantially and become one of the most trusted metal work providers in all of Long Island and New York City. Today, his son Mario continues to guide Forest Iron Works through the 21st century upholding the same standards and traditions instilled in him by his father.

Not only have we worked on a number of the fine homes and estates in the area, we have been entrusted with the construction of various Government Memorials for towns throughout Nassau County. We also do a great deal of charity work and make donations in sincere thanks to Locust Valley and to the residents who have long supported our business.

WHAT WE DO

We provide a variety of metal design, fabrication and installation services. All of our work is done on-premises in our custom-built shop. A local leader in all structural and decorative metal work, we are always ready, willing and capable to handle any project of any size at any time.
